KAMALA HARRIS MOCKED AFTER DISASTROUS COLBERT INTERVIEW

Former Vice President Kamala Harris is facing criticism from across the political spectrum following her recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. While some social media users speculated about her demeanor during the interview, most criticism focused on what many viewed as vague and unconvincing responses.

During the interview, Harris discussed her decision not to run for governor of California. Explaining her choice, she said, “Just for now, I don’t want to go back in the system. I think it’s broken.” The comment quickly sparked debate about what she meant by “the system.”

On CNN, NOTUS White House Correspondent Jasmine Wright questioned Harris’s use of broad and undefined language. Wright argued that voters are looking for specific explanations and practical solutions rather than general statements about political problems.

“I think what people want are solutions, and she has not said a single one,” Wright said. She added that Harris has had months since the 2024 election to clarify her views but still has not clearly explained what she believes went wrong.

CNN host Manu Raju agreed, noting that Harris has largely remained out of the public spotlight for months. He expressed surprise that she did not offer more candid reflections about her campaign or the challenges facing the Democratic Party.

Senior CNN reporter Aaron Blake suggested the interview reflected a broader issue within the Democratic Party. According to Blake, Democrats have struggled to present a consistent message or a clear leader capable of shaping the national conversation.

Associated Press White House reporter Michelle Price described Harris as unusually cautious and “robotic” during the interview. She noted that Harris appeared physically uncomfortable and missed an opportunity to speak more openly about her future and the party’s direction.

Critics ultimately argued that the interview lacked a clear vision for moving forward. Wright concluded that Harris owes voters a more honest assessment of what went wrong in 2024 and a clearer explanation of her plans and priorities going forward.

PART1:PART 2: I didn’t answer his message. Instead, I kept walking. Not running yet—because running is what people do when they think they still have permission to be caught. I moved through the airport exit doors and blended into the crowd outside JFK. Taxis honked, luggage wheels rattled, voices overlapped in a messy chorus of ordinary life. But nothing felt ordinary anymore. My hand was still holding Lily’s note. RUN. DO NOT GET ON THE PLANE. LOOK FOR THE BLACK SQUARE. I stopped under a concrete pillar and finally unfolded it properly again. The drawing was worse the second time I looked at it. A house. One window crossed out. And a black square drawn next to the entrance like a warning sign that had been erased too many times to remain clean. SAY “”YES”” IF YOU WANT TO READ THE FULL STORY 👇
